Easttown Township seeks a volunteer for the upcoming vacancy Chair position on its Board of Supervisors Vacancy Board (Vacancy Board). The purpose of the Vacancy Board is set forth by the Second Class Township Code and consists of the Board of Supervisors and one elector of the Township, who shall act as Chair of the Vacancy Board. The purpose of this Chair position is to fill a vacancy, in the event that the Board of Supervisors is unable to reach a decision on who should fill that vacancy.

The term of this vacancy begins once appointed by the Board of Supervisors in January 2024 and expires on December 31, 2024. Easttown Library Board of Trustees Vacancies
Easttown Township seeks volunteers for the upcoming two (2) vacant positions on its Easttown Library Board of Trustees (Library Board). As an advisory group, the Library Board oversees the efficient operation of the Easttown Library by establishing policies and long-term goals, initiating and overseeing the budget process, and promoting and advocating for the library in the community.

Easttown Township seeks volunteers for the upcoming two (2) vacant positions on its Easttown Municipal Authority (EMA). The EMA’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and constructing the sewer system.

Easttown Township seeks a volunteer for the upcoming vacant Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) position on its Emergency Management Organization (EMO). The EMO is responsible for emergency management, response, and recovery within the Township and consists of representatives from the Township, Berwyn and Paoli Fire Companies, and the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District. The EMC should be capable of planning, effecting coordination among the operating agencies, and controlling coordinated operations within the Township.

Easttown Township seeks a volunteer for the upcoming vacant position on its Planning Commission (PC). As an advisory body, the PC makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on all land development and subdivision applications that are submitted to the Township. The PC plays an important role in developing and implementing the Township’s Comprehensive Plan, as well as keeping the Zoning and Subdivision and Land Development Codes up to date and in compliance with Pennsylvania’s Municipalities Planning Code.
