UPDATE: Unfortunately, the tree give-a-way is cancelled as suppliers could not accommodate the County's request. The EAC appreciates the overwhelming support of this program. Please stay tuned for future partnerships.
The Environmental Advisory Council has organized a free tree and shrub seedling giveaway as part of the Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership Giveaway.
If you would like some free tree or shrub seedings, please complete the ONLINE FORM by April 19th. The seedlings will be native plants, about two (2) feet tall and well rooted. The EAC expects to receive Flowering Dogwood, Black Elderberry, Redbud and Serviceberry varieties, but may differ slightly based on on availability. Each household is limited to a total of four (4) free trees or shrubs (any combination of seedlings), which can be selected among the available types during pick-up.
Seedlings will be available for pickup on April 20th between 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM in Fellowship Hall at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 640 Berwyn Avenue, Berwyn, PA.
The Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership is committed to planting 10 million trees in PA by 2025, to improve communities, ecology and the economy. From county to county and generation to generation, the trees rooted in our soil create a network of connections across the Commonwealth, preserving our legacy and protecting our land for generations yet to come.
