The Pennsyvlania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Chester County.
The following closures are scheduled in Easttown and Tredyffrin Townships:
- Monday March 13 through Friday March 31 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - weekday lane closure on Route 252 between Contention Lane and Valley Forge Road (Tredyffrin);
- Monday, March 13 through Saturday, April 30 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - weekday lane closure including weekends in both directions on U.S. 30 between Dorset Road and Valley Forge Road (Easttown);
- Tuesday, March 14 through Thursday March 23 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - weekday lane closure on Route 252 between Buttonwood Road and Beaumont Road (Easttown)
- Tuesdsay, March 14 through Thursday March 23 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - weekday lane clsoure on Waterloo Avenue between Waterloo Circle and Dogwood Lane (Easttown);
- Tuesday, March 14 through Thursday, March 23 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - weekday lane on Conestoga Road between Price Avenue and Old State Road (Tredyffrin);
- Wednesday, March 22 through Wednesday, November 1 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - weekday closure on Conestoga Road between Devon State Road and Cassatt Road (Easttown/Tredyffrin) - During this closure, motorists will be directed to use Devon State Road, Valley Forge Road, Route 252 and Cassatt Road;
- Wednesday, March 22 through Wednesday, November 1 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - weekday closure on Conestoga Road between Old Lancaster Road and Cassatt Road (Tredyffrin) - Motorists will be directed to use Howellville Road, Old Lancaster Road, U.S. 30.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through teh work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
